Canva is an online design platform from an Australian company, built around a huge template library: posters, social graphics, slides and short videos can all start from a template. A separately operated edition serves mainland China.

In recent years it has folded AI into the editor — text-to-image, one-click background removal, image expansion, magic erase, smart resizing and AI copywriting — turning operations that used to need pro software into a single click. The advantage over standalone AI tools is that you generate, lay out, add text and export on the same canvas, with no shuffling of files.
